中国现代著名作家
周立波（1908—1979），原名周绍仪，字凤翔，又名周奉悟。湖南省益阳人，中国共产党优秀党员，中国现代著名作家、编译家。 1908年8月9日，周立波生出生于益阳县（今赫山区）邓石桥清溪村（对于家乡，他曾作诗“说是清溪没有溪，田塍道上草凄凄。山边大树迎风啸，村外机车逐鸟啼”）一个私塾教师家庭。1924年秋考入长沙省立第一中学，在师长王季范、徐特立等影响教育下，思想追求进步，喜爱新文学。第一次大革命失败后，辍学回县在高小任教。1928年春随周起应(周扬)到上海，后考入江湾劳动大学经济系学习，参加革命互济会活动。1930年春因散发传单被校方开除。不久返乡[1]，开始从事文学写作和翻译。 1931年，“九·一八事变”后，到上海神州国光社当校对员。1932年因参加工人罢工被捕入狱。1934年7月被保释出狱。后在上海参加中国左翼作家联盟。1935年1月加入中国共产党。负责编辑左联秘密会刊，任中共左联党团成员，并任《时事新报》副刊《每周文学》编辑。他积极从事左翼文艺运动，翻译了《被开垦的处女地》、《秘密的中国》，译著近百万字。 1937年，抗日战争爆发后，赴华北抗日前线八路军前方总部和晋察冀边区参加抗日战争工作，任战地记者，写出报告文学与散文集。1938年冬到湖南沅陵参与地[2]下党领导工作，并参加编辑《抗战日报》。1939年5月被周恩来调到桂林，任《救亡日报》编辑，并任中华全国文艺界抗敌协会桂林分会筹备委员。同年12月到达延安，任鲁迅艺术文学院编译处处长兼文学系教员，被选为陕甘宁边区文化界救亡协会执行委员、中华全国文艺界抗敌协会延安分会理事。1942年参加延安文艺座谈会。1944年任《解放日报》社副刊部副部长并主编文艺副刊，同年冬任八路军南下第一支队司令部秘书，随军南征。 1945年，日本侵略军投降后，任中原军区《七七日报》、《中原日报》社副社长。1946年后被调往东北，先后任中共区委宣传委员、松江省委宣传处处长等职，参加土地改革运动，并编辑《松江农民报》。1947年开始创作其最重要的作品《暴风骤雨》，1948年调任东北文协《文学战线》主编，1949年7月被选为全国文联和全国文协委员。 中华人民共和国成立后，历任沈阳鲁迅艺术学院研究室主任、政务院文化部编审处负责人、湖南省文联主席兼中共党组书记等职，被选为第一、二，三届全国人大代表，第五届全国政协委员会委员，连续被选为全国文联委员和中国作家协会理事，并兼《人民文学》编委和《湖南文学》主编。 他的长篇小说《暴风骤雨》和参与编剧拍摄的《解放了的中国》影片，先后获得斯大林文学奖金，《湘江之夜》获全国短篇小说一等奖；周立波还是一位杰出的社会主义乡土文学作家；从1955年至1965年，他回家乡创作了长篇小说《山乡巨变》和20多篇乡土短篇小说开创了乡土文学的新主题、新风格，与同时期的著名作家赵树理享有“南周北赵”之美誉。 1979年9月25日，周立波同志因病在北京逝世；出版有《周立波短篇小说集》、《周立波散文集》、《周立波选集》、《立波文集》等；周立波同志在四十多年的革命文学道路上，集作家、学者、战士于一身，一生共创作了300多万字的著作，创作的作品思想深刻，为人民群众喜闻乐见；他以真诚的笔调记录了新中国成立后的社会进步，具有鲜明的时代感。

个人简介
